SHADDY MC
Shaddy MC has been influencedby jungle, drum ‘n’ bass music from an early age and eventually he was attending
clubs & festivals up& down the country. From this it wasn’t long until ‘pen hit the pad’ and
began writing though the inspiration of this underground music scene. Before long Shaddy was
picking up sets in Oxford, Reading & Swindon supporting the likes of; BryanGee, Nicky Blackmarket,
Benni Page, Serial killaz, Congo Natty, Lion dub, Adam F, Freestylers,
Majistrate & MC’s Fun, IC3, Eks man, David Boomah & Darrison.
Whilst taking time away from the U.K and travelling across South East Asia, Shaddy touched down in
Thailand, when staying there for 3 months this MC picked up a number of sets in
Bangkok ‘Arize club’ before making his way down south performing at the ‘Mango bar’
Koh Samui & a handful of sets at the world famous full moon party,
Koh pha ngan ‘Orchid bar.’In recent times Shaddy MC became a resident with Surge sound system & linked up with the Brukout
Foundation. From here the collaboration booked time in the Dope Ammo Records studio to
construct the track ‘Raggamuffin Bizness.’ Whilst ‘chatting’ in the
booth and laying down the vocals to this track, Shaddy caught the eye of the Dope Ammo Records management
team and was instantly back in the studio laying down ‘bars’ for the forthcoming Dope
Ammo aka Drunken Masters track ‘Effective Styles.’ Both these tracks feat Shaddy MC and
are currently being supported by the drum n bass a-list, including the likes of
Nicky Blackmarket, Kenny Ken, Ashatack & more.With big bookings in the U.K
and Europe already in the pipeline, the future looks bright for Shaddy MC
